How to apply

 

Enrolment procedure

1. Choose your course

2. Read the pre-enrolment information provided in the Pre-Enrolment Booklet.

3. Complete the Application Form; sign it.

4. You will need the following supporting documentation:

  • Copy of passport and visa pages (if applicable) from passport
  • Certified true copy of previous educational certificates and academic records.
  • English Language test results -IELTS or equivalent

Note: if the documentation is in another language other than English, an official translation must be provided.

5. Submit the application form and the supporting documentation together to Hales Institute by:

  • Taking them to your local Education Agent [link to agent list]
  • Faxing them directly to Hales Institute at +61 3 9650 6476
  • E-mail them to Hales at info@hales.edu.au

Hales will assess your application. The time taken to assess your application depends on the prerequisites that you need to meet.

If your application is successful, you will receive:

  • A letter of offer
  • An Course Acceptance Agreement

If your application is unsuccessful – that is, you do not meet the entry requirements or the course you have applied for is full for the term you are interested in – you will receive a letter stating the reason/s why.

Note: The Letter of Offer will indicate if the offer is a Letter of Offer’ or ‘Conditional Letter of Offer’. A Conditional Letter of Offer states that you will be offered a place in the program, if you meet the conditions as stated on this offer.

Read the Course Acceptance Agreement and sign it. Keep a copy and return the signed Course Acceptance Agreement to Hales.

Note: The acceptance agreement must be completed and returned to Hales Institute prior to or when you make your (first) initial course fee payment After your Course Acceptance Agreement has been received and fees paid according your Letter of Offer, Hales institute will send you:

  • Your Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE) to apply for your student visa
  • Welcome letter with information about your commencement and orientation dates and time

Attend Commencement and Orientation Day – attendance is mandatory.

Please note that Hales Institute can assist with home-stay accommodation and airport pick up (fees apply). If you are interested in these services, make sure to submit your request at least 2 weeks prior your arrival date. Please keep us informed of your arrival date in the country.

The application forms for domestic (Australian) students

Please follow these steps

Step 1: Fill in a pre-enrolment form to see if you are eligible for government funding

Step 2: Fill in a MEGT Institute enrolment form for domestic students.

Step 3: Submit the pre-enrolment and enrolment form to:  institute@megt.com.au or by post (or in person) to:

On receipt of your application we will contact you to confirm your eligibility and course commencement. Payment of your Enrolment Fee and Materials Fee will be required prior to course commencement – payment instructions will be provided to you along with your Letter of Offer.
