The Diploma of Children’s Services (Early Childhood Care and Education) extends and builds upon the student’s knowledge gained in the Certificate III. This course explores areas of child development in detail. It includes the planning of the daily routine of centre-based care according to children’s individual needs as well as establishing effective relationships with parents.

Entry Requirements
International students must be at least 18 years of age and need to demonstrate English language proficiency at IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
To work with children, students are required by the Victorian Government to complete a Working with Children check. If you need to test your level of English and you are in Melbourne please book in for our free English test on our campus on Level 2.
To gain entry into CHC50908 Diploma of Children’s Services (Early childhood education and care) candidates must demonstrate competence through a recognised training program or recognition process, in the following units of competency:

Course fees
- Tuition fee – A$8,900 (payable in four instalments)
- Administration fee – A$250
- Materials fee – A$350
- Estimated OSHC*– $420 (12 months single cover).
Prices are valid until 31 December 2011. All prices are in Australian dollars
Material fees are payable in advance with the tuition fee. OSHC are not included in the fees and is a visa requirement for overseas students find out more.
